Positive Material Identification (PMI)

Positive Material Identification provides alloy chemistry and grading of materials against UNS and ASME material codes. PMI enables a componments material grade to be determinied and is one of the more specialised methods of Non-destructive-testing. If material certificates have been lost, then PMI is the solution.

Our latest addition is our ability to undertake SOIL TESTING using this versatile equipment.

The X-MET5000 allows easy editing of the grade libraries, including the additionof new alloys and naming of the alloys. It has an integrated grade library containing:
